I am an experienced Project Manager, effective in daily project work. I have been working mostly in large, international projects, with Board attention and regulatory pressure, coordinating mostly the work of cross – functional, international Teams.
For the first 8 years of my work as project manager, I was mainly involved in R&D projects, performed at national and international scale. I have worked closely with the Polish and foreign universities, research institutes but also companies representing small, medium and large industry. I have had the opportunity to get to know the specifics of organizations offering funding for research like National Centre for Research and Development in Poland or European Commission.
Thanks to this experience I belong to the still relatively small group of research project managers, who understand the nature and characteristic of these projects and have reliable knowledge and competences to manage them effectively.
Over the last few years, I have continued to develop my competences in project management. I successfully implemented complex cross-country transformation project bringing significant organizational change in terms of new standard of working, procedures, behaviours and policies. I also delivered the complex Change Programme of cross country development projects performed in cooperation with external vendor. This way i had an opportunity to dive deeper into specifics of IT project, performed within international Teams.
Today, I can admit that the job of a Project Manager is demanding but at the same time brings a lot of satisfaction. This profession is very deeply based on working with people and this is the reason why it gives sense of meaning and allows to build stable contacts with other experts working in projects. The project work is never boring as each project is different and each Team has its own dynamics and management needs.
I graduated of the Warsaw School of Economics. In 2016, I obtained PhD in Economics in the field of Management at the Leon Koźmiński University in Warsaw.
